I have wanted to be a writer and travel the world since I was twelve years old. However, just because I wanted to do it does not mean that it is always an easy road. Back when I was in High School, I failed typing. Because I knew that typing was a necessary ability for a writer, I knew that I had to get proficient at typing. Though I failed typing in high school, as an adult I was determined to become a proficient typist. I discovered an online typing course from which I learned what I didn't learn in high school. When I are working to achieve our goals, I am often confronted by negativity. Therefore in order to keep focused on the good, I need to remind myself of the accomplishments I have already made on my journey in reaching my goals. In the book, Vic Johnson suggests that I should post Post it Notes all over the house to remind me of my achievements. As I look back over my life, I see numerous accomplishments.
